This month’s Featured Partner is DME Forensics, one of our resellers in the digital forensics industry. DME Forensics was brought to life in 2012 by Jimmy Schroering and Jason Latham. DME Forensics offers consulting, laboratory services, training, software and tools to the civil and criminal justice communities. Over 90% of DME Forensic’s clients are government agencies. During the course of their careers, they have trained 1000s of individuals in over fifty government agencies and their CCTV DVR recovery product DVR Examiner is in use in 17 countries.
Jimmy Schroering, President of R&D at DME Forensics, started using CRU products while working at the FBI’s Forensic Audio, Visual, and Image Analysis Unit (FAVIAU). When he decided to launch DME Forensics, choosing to incorporate CRU's WiebeTech forensics products was a no brainer. “Performance, ease of use and cost effectiveness is what helps us make our purchasing decisions,” says Jimmy. Besides being a reseller partner, DME Forensics use CRU products in-house and also showcases the Forensic ComboDock v5, USB WriteBlocker, and Ditto Forensic FieldStation during training classes. “What we love most about the Ditto is its ease of use−it’s simple to learn yet very powerful,” says Jimmy when asked why he (and his students) like using Ditto.
DME Forensics will be at the CEIC 2015 conference in Las Vegas this year. Be sure to stop by and say hi at Booth 506.
By the way, check out the recent update to our Forensic Software Utility, which provides easy-to-use access to our drive docks and forensic products.
